As the design work for the Sacramento to Roseville Third Track Phase 1 starts up, the CCJPA/TranSystems team have had initial meetings with various stakeholders: Union Pacific Railroad (UP), the City of Roseville, and Amtrak, in order to discuss the project, collect data, and start early coordination about facilities needs and layout. Initial outreach to utility companies that may have facilities within the bounds of the project have been contacted, in order that they may provide information on their existing facilities.
In early July, a 10% design submittal package was submitted for CCJPA and UP review. Once approved, the 10% submittal will become the basis for development of the 25% design submittal.
